El inicio de la festividad se realiza al medio día con el encendido de 12 cohetes desde la casa del cargo mayor y los albazos con camaretazos y repique de campanas. Es en ese momento que los Maqtas ingresan por el puente Carlos III y dan inicio a la festividad.
[The festivity starts at noon with the sound of 12 rockets being fired from the Cargo Mayor wasi (the house of the main organizer of the festivitiy).
